Abstract

The presentation introduces the variety of research that is undertaken at the CFPR, the themes, examples of innovation, Impact multidisciplinary conference, and our archive, collaborations and contemporary editions.

The Centre for Fine Print Research comprises artists, designers, chemists and physicists, who are working in paper and books, glass and ceramics, engineering and robotics, 19th century photo-print processes and contemporary printing, colour and inks. The Centre undertakes cutting-edge research, working across design and craft, science and industry, photographic history and cutting-edge digital technology.
