Abstract

At the 12th IMPACT multidisciplinary printmaking conference in Bristol, The Printmakers’ Voice, artists, practitioners, academics, technologists and curators came together to listen to each other’s voices, share and discuss themes, view new works of art and curated exhibitions, and experience the richness and diversity of printmaking. And what a time and indeed what a year to organise a conference? COVID remains a continued presence, the turmoil of worldwide politics, ongoing devastation of war in Ukraine, and many lives continue to be turned upside down and communities divided.
