Abstract
An experiential video installation that came out of the filmmaker's relationship with her mother who had been suffering from dementia for 12 years. The room where her mother sits on a daily basis is re-created here as a set, with the video projected and the audio experienced through headphones. This experiential piece attempts to re-create the life of someone who is living with dementia and their relationship with the world around them.
