Abstract

This workshop explores ideas, experiences and practices of culture and innovation in nurses' work. The facilitator will reflect on the notion of culture in nursing, explore the ways in which immigrant nurses contribute to renewal of nursing practice, and examine nurses' grassroots approaches to innovative practice in mental health. Historical perspectives and experiences will provide a lens for reflecting on current approaches of renewal and innovation in current nursing practice.
