Abstract

As a Royal West of England Academician I am entitled to enter two works in each years Autumn Open. As such I showed several moving image artworks works including 'Reflection on Water'. I am engaged on a project which examines the effects of entrainment rather than the semantic form of the 'reading of an artwork'. Each exhibition or artefact becomes a scaffolded experiment in research artefact creation and then it's exhibition, audience evaluation, critical reflection with subsequent journal articles and then finally a summative presentation of findings to conference.
