Approaches leading to a successful project: A special reference to construction industry in China

Abstract

This paper analyses the approaches that lead to the success of projects in Chinese construction industry.
The research data analysis reveals that the project manager is the crucial success factor for projects in the Chinese construction industry. Results also show that project success is the outcome of the project team effectiveness. Most respondents believed that project manager plays a crucial role in determining the project team effectiveness.
