Abstract

Commissioned by Arts Council England for Publicartonline the published conversation examines the collaborative processes, boundaries and outputs of artist Sophie Warren and architect Jonathan Mosley through an interview with academic and curator Lindsay Hughes. Warren and Mosley collaborate on projects that explore the realm between art, architecture and urbanism. Their work is concerned with how architectural space is perceived and articulated by those inhabiting it. The collaboration both intervenes in an improvised way within the city and generates gallery-based work in response to it. Warren and Mosley actively investigate places on the point of change and examine aspirations for the built environment alongside realities.
