| Project Description | 'Integration of EcoDesign Principles within Small Product Design Consultancies'. The investigation explored the absence of an EcoDesign agenda in the briefs of many small design consultancies (SDCs), and how this might be changed in the future. Of particular interest were the constraints that designers work under and the barriers that SDCs face when acquiring reliable information and learning new techniques. Issues such as company ethos, government policy, market pressure and investment opportunities also established themselves as significant factors in the practice of EcoDesign. |
