Abstract
This poster was presented at the 2017 South West Public Health Scientific Conference. It presents the findings from our survey of collision investigation officers, which investigated how police forces investigate and record mobile phone involvement in road traffic collisions. The findings from the on-line survey raise serious concerns about the under-reporting of mobile phone use in road traffic collisions. Police officers should be supported in carrying out timely analysis of mobile phones at the roadside, through technology such as the "textalyzer" and other solutions.
