Abstract
Multi-Stage Lot-Sizing Problems with Non-Zero Lead Time are formulated as Integer Programming models in a manner suitable for use with a rolling planning horizon in capacitated and uncapacitated Material Requirements Planning systems. Two solution approcehes, one of strong euts and another that uses Lagrangian Relaxation are developed. Computational results are reported and analysed for both approaches. In addition, a heuristic method for use in large-scale capacitated multi-stage systems with non-zero lead time is developed and tested
