Abstract
This guide reviews good practice, problems and solutions for the design or review of output checking processes in facilities dealing with confidential research data. Using the extant evidence base and a series of workshops, the guide covers:
- what decisions a data service needs to make
- designing processes and building the output checking team
- strategic considerations
This is the first published version. It is intended that this will be updated periodically.
The project was funded by the ESRC FUture Data Services programme and the UWE Higher Education Impact Fund.
