Occasional Associate Lecturer - FET - CSCT
Using examples from both architecture and art and design programmes, Emma and Morwenna discussed how UWE Bristol Library Services has implemented its responsibility for the central provision of academic literacy development, moving beyond the traditional boundaries of information literacy skills. They outlined the extent of that responsibility, how it is coordinated across the university, and how library staff development and capacity have been addressed. Examples illustrated approaches to embedding skills within the curriculum, working closely with academic colleagues and other professional services.
