| Project Description | This research project focuses on developing a multi-modal sensor fusion approach to accurately map and describe human gait features. By combining data from Ambulatory Inertial Sensors (AIS) and collaborative Floor Sensors (FS), the proposed approach extracts comprehensive spatio-temporal information. Machine learning algorithms and deep learning models are employed to achieve high classification performance, with improved f-scores compared to individual modalities. The study highlights the benefits of multi-modal fusion and deep learning in enhancing the understanding of gait activity. |
