World Bamboo Ambassador
2012

Recognition Type Service on advisory panels and expert committees
Description World Bamboo Ambassadors are dedicated volunteers that steer the World Bamboo Organization. An Honorary Council was established in 2005 to support WBO with professional consultation and expertise, in the field as well as in the conference room, and has since evolved and been re-named to better reflect the horizontal structure of our collaborations in the name of bamboo. We met each other through our commitment to bamboo and are now collectively called Bamboo Ambassadors.

Each Ambassador has a unique impact on the global bamboo community. The Ambassadors work independently but are a connected as a TEAM, and we collaborate to expand the potential of our actions and our mission. The World Bamboo Ambassadors are the soul and the future of the World Bamboo Organization.

Our pledge is simple:
"We are committed to show the world that we are serious about bamboo, we see the potentials and opportunities of this incredible natural resource, and we will work together with the World Bamboo Organization to expand our voice, to shout it loudly, whenever we can."
