Research Interests My research encompasses organization development, international development, rural development, global health, leadership studies and organization theory. For the past six years I have acted as a programme management consultant for the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation funded Malaria Elimination Initiative (MEI) at the University of California, San Francisco, advising on projects in Africa and the Greater Mekong Sub-region. I am currently leading a sub-national capacity building and malaria healthcare service delivery improvement project for the MEI in southern Africa. In addition, I have extensive experience of leading rural development projects in Lao People's Democratic Republic funded by the Australian Centre for Agricultural Research. My research is geared toward 'making a difference' to the well being of others and achieving impact beyond academia.
