Description HTEN is the network of History Education specialists in the UK and beyond who train specialist History teachers (initial and in-service level) and is the association representing member interests, sharing and publishing research, providing in person and online professional development and running sector conferences. It also lobbies for the sector and was, for example, influential in the last revision of the National Curriculum in England successfully running sector events and making outreach to related organisations and also submitting evidence to the DfE for the sector.
