External Examiner for MAs twice for University of Malta
Eleven external doctoral examinations completed (UEA, UCL-IOE, Gloucestershire, Birmingham, Hertfordshire, UMT Lahore) and ten internally at UWE. Ten student doctoral completions at UWE and three pending.

Description HTEN is the network of History Education specialists in the UK and beyond who train specialist History teachers (initial and in-service level) and is the association representing member interests, sharing and publishing research, providing in person and online professional development and running sector conferences. It also lobbies for the sector and was, for example, influential in the last revision of the National Curriculum in England successfully running sector events and making outreach to related organisations and also submitting evidence to the DfE for the sector.

Wide ranging involvement in funded History Education development projects (eg Dutch and Norwegian Foreign Ministries, US Institute for Peace, Council of Europe, and others) Presenting at annual conferences; resource production for use in schools across Europe, involvement in international projects as a consultant.
