Abstract

A series of three performances describing films that address architecture and 'the Modern' within the context of Harlow. A 'map' of each film is drawn as the artist recounts the film as oral history.

A publication by Roman Vasseur ‘Let Us Pray for Those Residing in the Designated Areas’ Kynaston McShine Projects, 2011, ISBN 978-0-9568459-0-0 referred to the project as providing models for a new relationship between Developers, Town Councils and Arts Commissioners and promoted the work of the artists appearing in Art & The New Town. The text referred directly to the author’s contribution, accompanied by a series of documentary photographs of the performance ‘A Clockwork Orange’.
