Library readiness for research data management

Abstract

The paper describes work undertaken at UWE Bristol as part of a JISC funded project on research data management. The focus is on why librarians are so actively involved in research data management, the skills that they bring, and the development of a maturity model to enable the assessment of, and target setting for, research data management support in academic libraries.
