Events and volunteerism

Abstract

This chapter provides a review of literature relating to sports event volunteering. A case study of research on the volunteers that travelled to Delhi from Scotland to take part in a mass cast at the flag handover ceremony at the 2010 Commonwealth Games is also provided.
