MTCD – A visual anthology of my machine life

Authors
Abstract
A live performance and a personal, auto-ethnographic reflection on the uses, misuses, and abuses of technology: artist and researcher Teresa Dillon expands her narrative by taking cues from one “machine” from each year of her life. From radios to home recording devices to her first experiences on the internet, Dillon takes us on a sonic and visual journey that explores the key “machines” that have come to shape her technological know-how and imagination, in turn revealing the contradictions and realities of a generation born as “digital natives.”
