Abstract
Artificial Intelligence (AI) and the rise of technology present a number of challenges to Higher Education (HE). The ease with which knowledge can be accessed without recourse to formal higher education raises concerns about the future of Higher Education and the whole learning process.
This presentation considers the current position in terms of how people learn and how technology is changing the face of education. However, rather than being concerned about this, it aims to show how Higher Education can embrace such technology to continue to provide education – not just teaching and training.
