Abstract
Ethylene Glycol has been determined directly in whole blood using thermal desorption gas chromatography. Recoveries of between 84.8 % to 107 % were recorded, with corresponding %CV of between 1.7 % and 5.8 %. No extraction or derivatization steps were required.
