Abstract
The aim of this presentation is to highlight the threat posed by terrorsim financing and how fraud has become the funding avenue of choice. The paper presents evidence of an increase use of this funding stream and highlights a number of weaknesses in the United Kingdom's counter-terrorism financing regime. The paper concludes by advocating the extension of the Joint Intelligence Money Laundering Task Force to include credit providers.
