Abstract
An album, a film and a stage show, inspired by Bulgakov's Master and Margarita, in which the Devil comes to Bristol to play havoc on the complacent and disillusioned. Three night sell out show held at the Lantern, Colston Hall from 23-25th January 2014. I was the project's creative producer and a several of my fllmmaking students worked with me on the project. The live show featured a whole host of emerging and established Bristol talent, incorporating a choir, rock band, forty piece orchestra, triptych of film projections and live acting. It is currently in further development under my intitiative with James Peries, Literary Associate at the Bristol Old Vic Theatre.
