Abstract

Game-Changing Documentarism engages in dialogue with more than 30 writers and stakeholders who lead the state-of-the-art documentary scene in Japan and abroad. The editor writes in the introduction to my article: "How will the documentary list living on a new horizon connect with society in the post-truth era? How can we live to find a sure 'future' in change? As the last word before closing this book, I would like to write down the words of Judith Aston who continues to think about the possibilities of documentary".
