Abstract
This paper aims to argue how developing self-awareness through clinical supervision may promote nurses’ cultural competencies in inpatient mental health care. Such capabilities include the ability to effectively work with those who may differences in linguistics, beliefs and values within the contexts of different national, ethic, religious, spiritual and/ or social groups.
