Abstract
The book is the outcome of two research studies that have used creative methods in the research process as part of the data gathering and/or analysis. It recognises the power of creative work to make sense of and convey meaning of human experiences. One of the projects shows artwork created by counsellors and psychotherapists exploring the importance of creativity in the therapy process. The other project re-presents the experiences of people who have spent time in psychiatric units in poetry form.
