As a social psychologist, Laura explores how to embed theories about groups and communications into practice, developing projects with communities to enable climate action and sustainable development. In this talk, she outlines how role modelling and social -in-group support can be used to maximise change. Drawing on examples from the ClairCity and Women Like Me projects, she discusses citizen-led air pollution and carbon emissions reduction in the West of England, along with green careers to retrain and upskill our workforce.
