Abstract
This guest lecture starts by exploring the various violations committed against children by the parties to the conflict in Ukraine. It then moves on to focus on the removal of Ukrainian children from Ukraine to occupied territories and Russia. Using the framework of international humanitarian law, this lecture delves into relevant legal provisions under the Geneva Conventions and the Additional Protocols, stressing the importance of keeping families together and the specific protection offered to children in times of armed conflict.
