Abstract

Using the theory of planned behaviour, this article aims to understand the psychology of plastic dependency in Nigeria. The plastics pollution has been more prevalent in its impact on the marine and terrestrial environment in Nigeria, this article engages with the mind-set of stakeholders from both governance and policy perspectives with the purpose of investigating and analysing the theory of planned behaviour to form a baseline for policy making and further research on how to combat plastics pollution in Nigeria.
