Additional Information Additional Information : Other relevant details: Although Arthurs' chapter draws on the research materials and analysis undertaken for the Crash Controversy book (Output 4) the edited collection in which it appears (co-edited by Arthurs and Iain Grant (internal to UWE)) comprises a separate project. The book explores a materialist account of the significance of the crash to twentieth century culture and focuses on the mediated imagining of crashes as integral to the phenomenology of everyday life. Arthurs and Grant co-authored the book's introduction.
