Additional Information	Additional Information : This chapter is distinctive in three ways. Firstly, the work of Weil's CRAR model (critically reflexive action research) is here related to youth research. Secondly, reflexive inquiry-based approaches that involve youth, professionals and policy makers as co-researchers are examined for their capacity to explore the living realities and paradoxes of young peoples' social and economic participation. This leads a discussion of how we can enable ongoing negotiated re-constructions of professionals' roles and relationships in supporting these transitions. Thirdly, the chapter provides an analysis of barriers to young peoples' participation in such research and the consequences for policy and practice development. This work is a good example of the integration of different projects within Weil's research to develop critically reflexive and whole system approaches at the policy-practice interface. Weil was responsible for 60% of this publication.
