What’s In The Box? Volume III

Abstract

Published as a collection of artists’ books curated and edited by Tom Sowden.

Each project involves MA Printmaking students, UWE staff and invited artists who are asked to contribute 16 pages for an artist’s book. Each book is digitally printed from a single, A3 folded sheet and bound in covers in a standard style. The content of the books is entirely up to the artist, the only stipulation being that it must be A6, 16 pages long and able to be printed on a laser printer.

The books are collected in batches of ten within plain, uniform boxes. From the outside of box or the book they all look very similar. The surprise comes when the book is opened.
