Additional Information Additional Information : This article developed from a paper presented at ATLAS 7th International Conference 'North-South: contrast and connections in Global Tourism' held in Savolinna, Finland in 2001. It concentrates on how to adapt focus group methodology to non-western settings and use them to benefit research participants as well as researchers.
