Abstract
In 2007 I visited Guangzhou, China for 10 days as Filmmaker-in-Residence with a group of young people and three other support workers, on a research trip exploring creative life and education in the city.
The resulting 21 minute film was screened at the Arnolfini in 2007, and was screened every day for a four month period in 2009 at the Bristol’s City Museum & Art Gallery (24 January – 19 April 2009), as part of their 'China Now' exhibition, in partnership with the British Museum.
Funded by the Real Ideas Organisation and Arts Council of England, supported by Firstborn Creatives.
