Shunt

Abstract

A group exhibition featuring sculptures, paintings and installations by three UK artists. The English verb "to shunt" means the physical movement of an object or specifically in the British, the manoeuvring of a railcar. The word is also a common metaphor for a mental reorientation and realignment. The constellation of works within the exhibition acted like spatial grammar, from which arose a coherent visual language.
