Setting the strategic direction for environmental sustainability in higher education

Abstract

This presentation explores the place of sustainability in the teaching, research and innovation, civic engagement and campus operations in universities. Using UWE as a case study example opportunities and challenges are discussed in the context of the urgency of the climate and ecological emergency and the expectations of current and future students.
