Abstract

Unique pulp/screenprinted book on the theme the urban jungle, moving between smooth and striated space as defined by Deleuze and Guattari's explorations in their publication A Thousand Plateaus.

Found text from the city environs and the installation became the basis for a text piece of dystopian malfunction in 21st Century controlled movements and observation.

Hand sewn and bound, with tooled title by Rachel James at Bristol Bound Bookbinding. Taped with 'caution - attention' yellow tape.

Artefact is held in the collection of Bibliotheca Librorum apud Artificem, Sydney, Australia.
