Abstract
This report presents the findings of a study to explore the role of bike-share services (including both unassisted and electric motor-assisted ‘e-bikes’) as part of a multi-modal transport offer to encourage sustainable travel to, and within, the Milton Park (MP) business park at Didcot in Oxfordshire, UK. The study was part of the 2018-23 MultiCAV project, led by First Group and including MP’s management company (MEPC) as a partner. The project was funded by Innovate UK to develop a ‘Mobility-as-a-Service’ (MaaS) offering, including automated vehicles and supported by a novel platform for journey planning, ticketing, and service updates. The shared e-bikes were the first vehicles to be launched at the Park under the MultiCAV project and its customer-facing name Mi-link.
