In this paper, advanced automatic sliding mode observers are applied to multi-cells converter. The technique facilitates the generation of the voltages image across capacitors of the
converter simply by measuring the current. Also, the technique possesses the finite time convergence error. The validity of the controller is demonstrated through simulation results in
both the mentioned properties of the technique. Furthermore, a topology with a higher order sliding mode observer for multi-cell converters applications are proposed.
