The Ecology of Everyday Things
Everard, Mark
Authors
Abstract
This book explores in a reader-friendly the ecology of a range of 'everyday things' that we take largely for granted. Chapters range from a cup of tea to a cotton tee-shirt, a newspaper and even space travel, also touching on the ecological roots of the places we live, the important roles that 'unappealing creatures' (wasps, slugs, woodlice) play in the workings of nature that support us, and even in space travel.
