Public transport: Social distancing without socially excluding

Abstract

During the COVID-19 pandemic, Glenn Lyons has jointly organised and has chaired a Fireside Chat series of events with PTRC examining the transport implications of the pandemic. Fireside Chat #2 on 18 June 2020 was titled "Social distancing – the death knell for public transport?" and was attended by over 300 people.
A LinkedIn article was published about the event two days later (https://www.linkedin.com/pulse/public-transport-overcoming-social-distancing-help-ensure-glenn-lyons/). The CILT Focus publication (distributed to its members) then published an abridged version of the LinkedIn article in its August 2020 Edition.
