Abstract
This Applied Research Collaboration (ARC) West public engagement event aimed to bring dementia research to local people in Weston-super-Mare and North Somerset. There were talks from dementia researchers across the South West and fun activities from Alive Activities. Feedback from attendees was overwhelmingly positive, with the CEO of Alive saying "It was a brilliant day. Very well received and so positive - and great to hear about so much amazing research". This event was a collaboration between UWE Bristol, the University of Bristol and Alive Activities.
