Abstract
Emotion perception is a multisensory process, and so to understand emotion perception in affective disorders, such as PTSD, we must investigate how emotions are perceived with multiple senses. This poster describes a small pilot study designed to test a new multisensory emotional oddball EEG paradigm and provide proof-of-concept for a future study comparing neurotypical controls to patients with a history of trauma and/or PTSD.
