Abstract

This plenary delves into the nuanced approach of developing an inclusive educational framework through authentic curriculum design. It explores the intricate artistry required to cultivate a learning environment that respects and integrates diverse cultural perspectives and experiences. Emphasising with context, the importance of cultural authenticity, personal relevance, and critical reflection in shaping an inclusive curriculum. It highlights the engagement with individuals as well as the cohorts, incorporation of multiple viewpoints, and ongoing adaptation as integral elements. This comprehensive approach aims to empower student agency, encourage respect for diverse identities, and foster an environment that nurtures understanding and empathy. Ultimately, the plenary underscores the significance of crafting an authentic and inclusive curriculum to create enriching educational experiences.
