Sarah Bodman looks at some of the ways artist interact with the library as a creative catalyst for researching, making and exhibiting artists' books as well as making works in response to libraries. From installations by Guy Bigland, Leslie Mutchler & Jason Urban, Gracia & Louise, Chloe Spicer, and Buzz Spector, to curatorial responses by Julie Johnstone, Maddy Hearn & Paul Hearn, Theresa Easton, Tate Shaw, Nick Norton and Street Road's Summer Library project.
