12 lead ECG interpretation: Tips and tricks for paramedics
Newton, Jon
Authors
Abstract
Decision-making confidence amongst ambulance clinicians is widely regarded as unsatisfactory when it comes to 12 Lead ECG interpretation; and this is supported by a large number of 'inappropriate' Cath Lab activations throughout the UK every year.
This clinically focused webinar takes students (and clinicians alike) back to the basics; and then enables ECG knowledge, competence and performance to be built. This guide to mastering 12-lead ECG interpretation showcases common issues encountered in paramedic practice, offers advice to mitigate for pitfalls and empowers ambulance staff to reach plausible diagnoses .
