Additional Information Additional Information : As part of an EU project funded through Socrates, Frost and Professor Campanini supported social work academics from all 26 EU countries to write a chapter for a book on social work education which they then edited in an attempt to compare social work education across the whole region. This paper is an academic discussion of the process, critically analysing issues such as academic status, 'voice', gender etc in relation to the notion of 'writing' social work. Contribution 90%.
