Y Gors Fawr

Myfyrdod yw'r cywydd 'Y Gors Fawr' lle mae'r awdur yn ymweld â'r cylch cerrig hwn ym Mynachlog-ddu. Mae'n teimlo ias wrth gerdded i mewn i'r cylch ac yn dychmygu ei fod nôl yn yr oes neolithig ac yn 'gweld' sut roedd y llwyth yn byw drwy eu gweithgareddau o ddydd i ddydd. Mae'n teimlo wrth ymadael ei fod wedi cyffwrdd y ffin a'i orffennol.

In 'Y Gors Fawr, the author visits an old stone circle in Mynachlod-ddu and is bewitched as he enters the site. He feels that he is back in the neolithic age and imagines what the tribe members are doing on a day to day basis. On leaving, he feels that he has touched an element of a previous life.

Mabwysiadu Cyfansoddwr

Mae cynllun 'Mabwysiadu Cyfansoddwr' yn cysylltu cyfansoddwr gyda chôr, cerddorfa neu enseble am gyfnod o flwyddyn ac yn cyrraedd uchafbwynt gyda pherfformiad cyntaf o waith newydd a darllediad ar Radio 3 y BBC.
Mae'r cyfansoddwr yn cael cyfle i ddod i adnabod y grŵp sy'n perfformio ac ysgrifennu darn yn arbennig iddynt ar gyfer y perfformiad cyntaf, tra fod gan aelodau'r grŵp gyfle i gyfrannu at waith newydd gan rai o gyfansoddwyr mwyaf addawol y D.U.
Mae'r cynllun yn cael ei redeg gan Making Music mewn partneriaeth gyda Sound and Music, ar y cyd gyda Radio 3 y BBC, ac yn cael ei ariannu gan Sefydliad PRS, Ymddriedolaeth Philip a Dorothy Green a Creative Scotland.



Adopt a Composer

The Adopt a Composer scheme pairs amateur choirs, orchestras and ensembles with a composer for a year culminating in a première performance and a broadcast on BBC Radio 3.
The composer has the opportunity to get to know a performing group and write a piece especially for them to première, while the group has the chance to contribute to the creation of a new work by some of the UK’s most promising composers.
The project is run by Making Music in partnership with Sound and Music, in association with BBC Radio 3, and funded by the PRS Foundation, Philip and Dorothy Green Trust and Creative Scotland.
