Abstract
This programme of Front Room Film engages with Acts of Transfer, a project about returns, re-enactments, repetitions, and retellings. Beginning in 2021 as a collaboration between artist Katy Beinart and writer Lizzie Lloyd, Acts of Transfer documents and reactivates a selection of artworks from the past that contain elements of social engagement or public participation.
3 Acts of Transfer films were shown as part of this season of Front Room Films and were accompanied by a text by Lizzie Lloyd.
